I thought this weekend was going to be really boring, but that could not be further from the truth! Friday evening, I put William to bed and then took Henry to a movie in the park in our town. We met up with our friends and had a great evening. We stopped for ice cream first and had a good time at the park. The movie started way later than I expected so Henry was really worn out, but I know he loved it. We can't make any of the other movies this summer so I am extra glad we went this week. :)
Henry and I are working on our selfie skills ;)
After the movie, I put Henry to bed and my BIL and his mom showed up at our house to stay the night. MAJOR news--my sister and her family are moving to town!! Greg and his mom were going to start house shopping super early in the morning so they wanted to stay the night. I was so happy to have them! Saturday morning they were out of the house just when I was getting up with the boys. Rob had a golf event so he was out of the house at 7.
I was feeding the boys breakfast (see the cutest face ever below!!) when Rob's mom texted to see if she could watch the boys for awhile that morning. This was PERFECT timing, as I wanted to go look at some houses. The boys had a great time with their grandma and I didn't have to bug them going through the houses.
We did find the perfect house for them and their offer was accepted! I can't believe my sister is going to live only 10 minutes away from me!! I also can't believe she didn't even SEE the house she is going to live in! She really trusts us, doesn't she? :)
After we went house-hunting, I came back home to put the boys down for their naps. I was going to work on cleaning the house, but I was honestly so tired I took a huge nap. Everyone was asleep and the house was so quiet!
When Greg and his mom got back to the house, we decided to celebrate them finding the perfect house. Greg went with Rob to the grocery to get some things to grill out while Pam and I worked on dessert and feeding the boys. Some other friends came over and we had the best time! Greg and Pam headed back to KY later that evening and I know they were on cloud 9 for getting the house!
Sunday early morning was a little bit rough, as William is teething and was having a bit of a hard time with it. I was up with him and about an hour later Rob was as well. He was still in a great mood when he woke up on Sunday. We got ready for church and Sunday School, but after gauging his mood we left a few minutes into the service. I'm glad we made it for Sunday School though!!
We drove around for a little bit and ran a few errands before heading home which allowed William to get a little bit of a nap before lunch. While I was putting William down for his afternoon nap, Rob took the front off of William's crib. I pretty much cried my eyes out the rest of the day!
After Henry's nap, I took him to the local pool to play for a little over an hour. Rob stayed home with William and made us an amazing dinner. After the boys had their bath and bedtime, Rob and I spent a lot of time cleaning and doing laundry. As much as I hate this, our house looks so nice to start the week! Hope you all had a great weekend too :)
