what i'm loving wednesday!

It's Wednesday friends!  I am off to the dentist to get a root canal, but honestly I have been in so much pain this week that I am actually looking forward to it.  Sad, I know.   I do want to share with you what I am loving this week before I head off to my appointment!!

I'm loving summer is here.  I'm going to be spending quite a bit of time at summer camp and I think this water balloon slide sounds just simply amazing.  I'd love to try it out!! :)

I'm loving that my sweet Tobbie is back home with me!  He has been in Kentucky with my mom for a few months and I am happy to have his sweet baby self home where he belongs.  He has been such a rockstar to snuggle with the past few days when I haven't been feeling well.  Tobbie was completely snoring on our way home Sunday--isn't he so cute in this picture? :)

I'm loving that Rob and I have booked a trip to Asheville for Memorial Day weekend!  I am so looking forward to the vacation.  I am counting down the days!  I know we are going to tour the Biltmore, but what else should we do?  I have heard so many great things about the city--I can't wait!

I'm loving this reminder to keep praying and stay faithful.  I need to remember this when times seem to be really tough!

I am loving my family so so much!  I had the best time in Kentucky celebrating both my sister and my mom this weekend.  Rob and I are also working on some home improvement projects and I love his contagious excitement about fixing up a few things around our house.  :)

Today is my favorite day of blogging--both reading and writing!  I love the positivity out there in blogland! :)

Before I get started into WILW, I'd just like to ask you to offer up a prayer for my papa.  He's having some minor surgery today, but his health has been in a gradual decline for awhile.  They've transferred him to a different hospital because he's high risk. I'd so appreciate your prayers--and I know my papa would too!

I'm loving this pretty Valentine's Day wreath!  I have minimal Valentine's Day decorations, but I think they are so pretty!  Isn't this wreath genius?

I'm loving this owl nightlight.  As a Chi Omega, I must have this in my life!  Isn't it so cute?!  

I'm loving Goodread's 2012 Reading Challenge!  I challenged myself to read 52 books and so far this year I have read 4!  I'm about 200 pages into a 900 page book right now so I know my pace is going to slow down a little.  However, I love keeping track of this goal--I feel so accomplished! :)

I'm loving my husband, as always.  I love that he makes me feel incredibly special and so very cherished.  That's the way every woman should feel and I am so thankful for Rob.  He even made dinner last night--which is another thing I'm loving! :)

It's Wednesday which means it's time to link up with Jamie at This Kind of Love!  I find myself looking forward to this day every week!  I love preparing this post and I love reading about what others are loving.  It is just the best dose of positivity out there in blogland! :)

I'm loving these spoons!  I received an ice cream maker for Christmas from my mom and sister.  Rob and I have made blackberry chocolate chip and strawberry.  Both were SO DELICIOUS!  However, we may have some disagreements over who gets to eat what and when... :)  So--these spoons would be very helpful! :)

I'm loving all of your sweet comments on my blogpost yesterday!  I loved sharing with you about my pretty engagement ring and I am so thankful for each one of them.  You surely know how to make a girl feel special!  

I'm loving the following Bible verses.  I've seen several posts where bloggers have claimed Bible verses for the upcoming year.  These ones are my favorite...

I'm loving my very sweet husband.  He makes me laugh harder than anyone else.  He is so sweet to cheer me up when I've had a rough day.  He just makes my days so much better.  I am so thankful for him and I love him very much!

Every week, I find myself getting so excited on Tuesday evenings thinking about what I'll include on my list of things I'm loving this week!  I really do look forward to listing what I love and reading others.  This linkup definitely makes things much brighter on a Wednesday!  If you want to linkup for What I'm Loving Wednesday, head over to Jamie's blog! :)

Last night I made Pioneer Woman's Meatloaf.  It was pretty delicious if I do say so myself!  I know that meatloaf is kind of a winter dish, but for some reason I thought it sounded amazing! I also made real mashed potatoes!  :)

I'm also loving this picture my aunt, Kay, posted on Facebook for my birthday!  Isn't this outfit hilarious?  I'd say I'm probably 4 in this picture--but I sure can rock those belly shirts! ha! :)

I'm loving Pinterest.  Duh, isn't everyone?  But I did find some great love quotes I needed for a project--this one is my favorite!  So beautiful!

I'm also LOVING that I am going to see Beth Moore this weekend!  She is going to be in Columbus and I can't wait to hear her speak!  I have completed several of her Bible Studies.  Each one has made such an impression on me and I'm looking forward to the same experience and feeling this weekend!

I am also big time loving Rob this week.  I swear sometimes I don't think I could love him anymore and then something happens and I just feel like my heart will overflow.  Rob spent some time the other day taking me on a picnic that I have been dying to go on all summer!  I am so very lucky to be with him and I am so thankful for him. :)

what i'm loving wednesday!

I'm so excited to be in town this week to share with you What I'm Loving! :)  Even though this summer has been amazing, I am looking forward to a little bit more time at home and some more time for blogging!! :)

This week I am going to share some things with you that I would be loving to get for my birthday!  My birthday is at the end of the month and I have my eye on a few fancy things! :)

#1 a gluten-free birthday cake with lots of candles!

2.  I would LOVE this beautiful bedding from Pottery Barn!  I am so so obsessed with paisley and this would match our bedroom perfectly!

3.  I'm also loving these sleep shirts from Victoria's Secret.  Don't they look so super comfortable?

4. Last, but definitely not least, I would love love love this beautiful necklace!  I love monograms and have so very little with my married monogram! :)  I would want the silver necklace, but I could only find the gold one!

what i'm loving wednesday!

Yay for What I'm Loving Wednesday!!  I hope you'll link up with us at This Kind of Love!  I have so many great things to be loving this week, as always!

First, I am absolutely positively loving my sweet husband.  In a little over a week we will start being away from each other for up to 10 days at a time.  It's so tough for me to imagine not being able to see him so much this summer, BUT I am glad we were able to spend all of Memorial Day weekend together.  We also get to spend some quality time together this weekend!  Thank goodness!

This weekend I was very aware of how extremely blessed I am.  I was able to see a bunch of my family, Rob's family, and spend some time with just my husband.  I was also really happy to be able to go to the church where I grew up and see everyone!  I can say it a million times, but it won't be enough--I am blessed!

I'm also loving a giveaway I won this past week!  I enter giveaways all of the time on blogs, but this was my first time to actually win!  I won a beautiful  piece of jewelry from Barberry and Lace.  Kit from A Step Into My Life hosted five days of giveaways for her blogging anniversary.  I entered everyday and won one of these beautiful pieces of jewelry!  I can't wait to see it in real life! :)

As I mentioned earlier, I am so blessed to have been able to spend time with my family in Kentucky this weekend.  I always forget to take pictures in Kentucky because we are having so much fun, but I remembered to snap this one right before we got in the car to come home! :)

Lastly, I am loving the weather!  It is definitely summer here and I couldn't be more thrilled!  I took this picture on one of the nightly walks Rob and I have been taking lately.  I sometimes complain about living in the country because it takes so long to get everywhere, but honestly you just can't beat the view! :)

what i'm loving wednesday!

 

I'm looking forward to telling all of you about What I'm Loving this week and checking out your blogs, as well!  Make sure to link up at Jamie's blog so everyone can see what you're up to this week! :)

First, I've been out of town for a few days and I am LOVING being back home with Rob.  I have the hardest time being away from him!  I can't sleep as well, for sure, but I also miss talking to him and curling up with him on the couch or sitting out on our deck together.  So, I had a great time at a work retreat, but I am SO thankful and happy to be home!

Second, I'm LOVING the new Orange Leaf that just opened!  Orange Leaf is a frozen yogurt store where you can pick from tons of different kinds of yogurt including chocolate, strawberry, non-dairy pineapple, coconut, cheesecake, cookies and cream, and the list goes on!  After you put as much yogurt in your cup as you want, you head over to the toppings buffet!  There you can add healthy snacks like strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, kiwi, and granola or some other snacks like chopped snickers, reese pieces, cocoa pebbles, chocolate chips, and more!  I have seen Orange Leaf in other cities and couldn't wait until we have one of our own!  The first picture is of Rob's concoction--chocolate and peanut butter yogurt with a dash of coconut yogurt on top.  (I love that you can mix and match as much as you want!!) Rob added some fun toppings like granola and reese pieces!

I went with the non-dairy pineapple frozen yogurt and added in a bunch of healthy and not-so-healthy toppings!  I added a medley of fruit including strawberries and blackberries, but then added some chocolate chips and a few swedish fish to round it out!   We both loved this place and I cannot wait to go back--I'm already plotting my next combination!

Last but not least, I'm loving my sweet, sweet husband who gave me roses last week!  Since I've been out of town, I haven't been able to blog about them properly!  I had a few pretty emotional days in a row and was really struggling.  I was actually on the phone with my mom complaining when Rob walked through the door with roses.  So sweet and the perfect way to cheer me up!  You can't be sad when your husband has just brought you flowers home!  :)

what i'm loving wednesday!

There are SO many things I'm loving this week and I am so so excited to share them with you all this week!  Don't forget to link up with Jamie at her cute blog! :)

First, I'm loving my sweet little cousin I got to see this weekend!  She's so so darling!  The last time I saw her was Christmas! She has grown so much and is starting to get these sweet pudgy legs. :)  When I was in KY, we did a little junking at some antique stores and my sister and I fought over Neely Jo the whole time!  :)  

Second, I am LOVING that we were able to go to Kentucky this weekend.  Here's my sweet husband and traveling partner. :)  

Third, I am LOVING that we had some decent weather on Monday afternoon.  I took advantage of my work-at-home status and spent the afternoon on the deck with Rex, my favorite co-worker! :)

Fourth, I am LOVING that Rob and I got to see Mary Poppins last night!  Mary Poppins was honestly the reason why we bought the whole season of Broadway tickets, even though we have loved all of them so far!  Anytime we get to have a date night, it's a special occasion, but last night was pretty wonderful! :)

Sixth, going along with number four, I am LOVING my husband.  Married life is pretty wonderful! :)
