Life seems to be moving really quickly lately and the weekends are such a welcome chance to catch up from the week. Rob was with his friends on Friday night, so the boys and I spent some quality time with my sister, her son, and my mom. We walked to an ice cream shop at the end of my sister's street and grilled out together. The evening was low-key and very fun. I love living so close to my sister and that our babies get to grow up together. :)
Saturday morning brought soccer games for both of the boys. The fog didn't stop William from needing his super cute sunglasses. He kicked the ball about 5 times this week, so he is really moving up in his skill level! ;)
After soccer, we came home for lunch and naps (and baths!!!) before heading out to a local festival. We had an absolute blast together--the boys rode some rides (which William was probably the biggest fan of!) and had some delicious food. There was live music and the boys had an absolute blast dancing together!
This is one of my very favorite pictures--this is at the end of one of those huge slides you go down on a burlap sack. Henry raced down next to William and I. We had such a great time and I love the joy captured in this picture. I put this on FB, but honestly-I had no idea being a mom would be so much fun. Being a parent can be a lot of work, but moments like this are the best. They make the tough times/days worth it!!
