How far along? I have just finished my 37th week of pregnancy--crazy! I am so excited to be at 38 weeks...and I honestly never thought that I'd ever get to this point. :)
Total weight gain: I lost about a pound at my last doctor's appointment. I think it's because there just isn't enough room for baby bit anymore! The nurse cheered for me losing weight, but I honestly could kind of care less. Baby is going to be here so soon that a few pounds up or down doesn't really matter. I'm just glad baby is healthy! :)
Also-no new stretch marks. Hurray!
Maternity clothes: I realized I only have 14 or so days left being pregnant...so I have decided to just wear my favorite maternity clothes. :)
Sleep: I have absolutely zero complaints in this department! I did wake up last night around 4 AM because I was hungry. ;) I had a bowl of cereal and then I was able to fall right back asleep. I think baby and I will be on similar feeding schedules. :)
Best moment this week: My best moment this week wasn't necessarily related to my own pregnancy, but rather my best friend! She delivered her sweet little girl Millie last Saturday a few weeks early. I love stopping by her house after work to love on Millie. She is so sweet. I also make sure she spends some quality time telling our baby to come out so they can be friends!
Miss anything? I can't say there's anything that I miss really. One funny story--I dropped my debit card in the front seat of my car and I can't find it. And, I can't dig around in my car like I would normally to find it. So, hopefully Rob will be able to find it for me. :)
Movement: Lots of movement! I can feel his/her little baby hands, bottom, and feet moving around and it makes me so happy. While I am so excited to have the baby, I am also really going to miss these feelings. I know I say that every week--but it's definitely a bittersweet feeling for me.
Food cravings: I don't know that there's anything specific I am craving--mainly I am just really hungry all the time. Remember how I said I woke up at 4 am because I was hungry? There isn't really any moment of the day when I wouldn't go for some kind of snack or meal. I'm still digging the ice water, but I'm also happy to have something substantial to eat.
Anything making you queasy or sick? I'm still feeling pretty good for the most part--onions, peppers, and olives are still on my no list.
Gender: Just 14 days until we find out! One of my friends moms thinks that we know the gender and just aren't telling anyone--so so cute. I am just as anxious as everyone else to find out the gender! :)
Labor signs: I got pretty excited on Sunday night because I started having some contractions for real! They made their way to being about 7 minutes apart and lasting about 90 seconds. But, then they just stopped. The contractions didn't fizzle out, they just stopped. Such a bummer, but maybe that will mean I've made some progress! :)
Symptoms: I would like to eat all of the time... and I can't bend at the waist. ;)
Belly button in or out? It's still an innie. I don't think I'm going to get the outie I have always wanted!
Wedding rings on or off? My rings are off and I'm a little bit more ok with it this week. I'm glad I have another meaningful ring to wear for these last few weeks. It sometimes leaves indents on my finger, but I am still rocking it out. :)
Happy or moody most of the time: I am pretty happy! I am very aware that most other girls experiencing pregnancy don't feel this good this late in the game and so i am extremely thankful for that. I am very conscious that this pregnancy is winding down and I only have a few more weeks of enjoying it!
Looking forward to: Our doctor's appointment on Monday. I am hoping to have made some progress!
Also, I wanted to just write down some notes about my doctor's appointment on Wednesday. My doctor and I went over the birth plan I've been working on with Rob. I really appreciated the fact that my doctor is pretty chill about all of my requests including not receiving fluids and being able to eat/drink on my own during labor. I did test positive for Group B Strep so I'll have to have an IV, but my doctor is really cool about me laboring at home for as long as I want. Because the baby is full-term, there is a very good chance baby will be healthy and born without complications and she thinks our birth plan is very reasonable so she is game. I haven't really talked a lot about my birth wishes here, but Rob and I took 12 weeks of Bradley classes in the hopes of having a natural birth. I loved the education we gained from the class--but I am really praying everything goes smoothly and are able to have a natural birth. However, if that's not part of our plan, I am thankful we were able to gain so much knowledge and really be educated about the whole labor and delivery process. :)
You look great! :) I can't believe you are so close to the end!!! I didn't realize you were aiming for a medication free birth, that's awesome! You are a stronger person than me, I am like "bring me the drugs!"...but of course with a c/s not having them isn't really an option! :)

14 days....omg!!! :) It's so so so close!!!!! Good for you for taking classes on natural birth and hoping to go that way. To me, that's amazing you are preparing for that.
