Over the weekend, I had my first baby shower! One of my best friends hosted the shower for our other best friend Paige and I. Paige and I are due within one week of each other--isn't that wild?!It has been so so nice to have someone going through pregnancy at the same time to compare notes and feelings!
Paige, Bird, and I are all friends through our summer campgrounds--Camp Bountiful. Part of the camp song is "Bountiful Blessings All Around" which she made into a cake--simply perfect! This is Paige and I holding up our pretty cake!
This is absolutely one of my favorite gifts from this weekend! Paige had her aunt make us this baby quilt. It has owls on it, which I love from my days as a Chi Omega but the grey patches are actually from the bridesmaids dress Paige wore in my wedding--how cool is that?!
Here are Paige and I side-by-side! We look pretty similar pregnant--and she's having a girl. Do you think that means I'll be having a girl in just a few weeks? :)
Here are Paige and I with our husbands. Rob and Steve had spent the afternoon together and showed up just in time to pick us up and load up our cars--pretty good timing, right? :) They missed the good cake, but did get some other yummy food. :)
My friend Sarah drove up from Cincinnati to spend the day with me! While we didn't get to hang out a ton at the shower, she did spend the evening with us at Bird's house hanging out. :)
Also, my sister wasn't able to make it to the shower because her kiddos at school had made it to the regional part of a tournament where she was coaching. However, she did send Paige and I this yummy Edible Arrangement to make up for it! My favorite was probably the bananas...they had white and milk chocolate on them!! :)
And here is her sweet card--she is just so thoughtful!
I am really looking forward to the weekend and my second shower! This time is just flying by and it needs to slow down so I can really enjoy it all! :)

Awww, looks like a great shower! I had a joint shower with a friend that was two weeks ahead of me and it was SO much fun!

What a beautiful celebration! I love that you have a friend with such a close due date and shared a shower - so fun! That quilt is SO sweet!! Love that she incorporated the fabric from a bridesmaid dress!
