This past Saturday I had my second Baby Shower! My sister in law, Cindy, was sweet enough to host one for me and invited Rob's side of the family to attend. I was so excited for this shower for a bunch of reasons--one of them being that there would be pimento cheese sandwiches. :)
Here is a view of the top of the centerpieces. Cindy wrapped mini candy bars with a baby dern wrapper. Everything also had a rubber ducky theme which was so cute!
Cindy also covered tic tacs with labels. Here is the front....
And here is the back! Isn't this a cute idea?!
Cindy also made these yummy caprese skewers! This is absolutely one of my favorite foods--so so delicious! I didn't get a picture, but in the back you can see my special gluten-free plate of food that Cindy set aside for me. I definitely ate all of it--plus the 3 extra cupcakes!! They were seriously the best GF cupcakes I've had. So yummy!
Here is the cupcake tower--aren't the cupcake toppers so cute? I love that everything included the theme--so cute! And, I know that Cindy put so much time and effort into it. :)
Cindy also included all of my bump pictures on a bulletin board. There are several people in Rob's family who I don't see regularly so this was the perfect way for them to see the bump's progression. We also had a good time discussing which pictures I looked bigger/smaller in. ;)
My sweet sister Rachel helped me keep track of the gifts as I opened them. Little Bit received so many wonderful gifts including the stroller/car seat combo, an activity mat, exersaucer, some fun Baby Einstein videos, and a Gymboree gift card. I am excited to put that to use once I know if LB is a boy or girl! :)
Rob stopped by the shower at the end to help us load everything up. Several of the gifts were pretty heavy so I am very thankful he was there! :)
I love this picture of my mom, me, and Rob's mom! :)
I love this picture too! Our niece, Cindy, my mom, me, Rob's mom, and my sister! I am so thankful each of them were there to help us celebrate. Isn't my niece awesome--I love her side ponytail so much!
The baby shower was such a fun day and I loved getting to spend time with so many ladies in Rob's family. I am so thankful for Cindy who threw such a fun shower! We also played a few games that were fun. One of them was writing down words of wisdom to Rob and I on one side and then guessing the gender on the other. I was surprised the count was so close---9-7 boy! :)

i love the baby duck theme so cute! i love she used pregnancy progression photos as decoration that is so neat and something i haven't seen before. the time is getting close!
