This weekend was so nice! I feel like I accomplished so much! Friday night Rob and I had dinner at home and then went out to see the new Mission Impossible! I haven't seen any of the others, but I actually really enjoyed it! Have you seen any good movies lately?
On Saturday, Rob and I ran a bunch of errands and went out to a new Mexican restaurant--Taco Del Marr. I think it's a west coast chain, but we just got a new one! It was pretty delicious. Rob knew the owner and he brought us free chips and salsa! :)
Afterwards, I took Rex on a long walk. The weather was so beautiful and we really enjoyed being outside together. Rex always prances on walks. He's so cute! :) Saturday evening, we met up with Rob's family to celebrate his brother-in-laws graduation! We ate at one of my favorite Italian restaurants--and they even have a gluten-free menu! Hurray!
Sunday morning brought church! Rob was inducted as his church's treasurer and I was so excited for him. It really thrills me that he is taking on this leadership role. I know it's a lot of work--but I think it's wonderful! After church, Rob and I used a Rooster's gift card and then did some serious couponing before heading out to CVS and Kroger. I saved 40% at CVS and 25% at Kroger. I need to get so much better at my grocery store couponing, but I am pretty thrilled about my CVS shopping! I saved over $70 in my shopping. I've seen a lot of couponers who have put the money saved into savings....I think this is a pretty good idea!
I also did a million five loads of laundry and made Cooking Light's Kung Pao Chicken. I couldn't recommend this dish more--so so delicious! I forgot the ginger and it was still pretty good!
Tell me, how was your weekend?

I really should probably start couponing. But I just have no idea where to start.
That recipe looks delicious! I'll have to try it sometime!
Hope you're having a great Monday! :)

Couponing is rather easy if you have the right resources. Good Luck!! I will definitely help you out in this area, girlfriend!!

I saw the 3rd Mission Impossible with my sister, and we were clinging to each other during a couple of the scenes (like when he's dangling on the side of the hotel in Dubai!!!). It was a fun few hours!
And that recipe looks amazing. I'm always looking for new things to try. Yummm.
Also, you'll have to explain about how you coupon. It's something I've always wanted to get into (because who doesn't like saving money), but I never can quite get my head wrapped around where to find coupons, how to use them, etc. Perhaps a tutorial? :)
