I know I said the next post would be of the ceremony, but as I started going through the pictures, I realized I hadn't put any of these up and I just absolutely love them!!
These were all taken 30 minutes before the ceremony started. My bridesmaids, mom, a couple of close family friends, and I were all in seclusion right before the ceremony. I had so much fun in this room--and it definitely made the time leading up to the ceremony as stress-free as possible. There were so many iphone pics and swigs of Diet Coke that I couldn't help but laugh while we were in there. So, enjoy these pictures and I promise the ceremony will be coming up soon! :)
This is my little cousin Amelia! She swirled in her dress the entire time we were getting ready. She also wanted to make sure I knew how to correctly walk down the aisle. So hilarious!
Here's our ring bearer and my cousin, Eli. Isn't he so handsome? He took his job SO seriously! I love this face--you can tell he's going to be a little heartbreaker!
See what I mean about iphone pics? I could put 20 of them up here! So fun! :)
Here is my sweet niece checking herself out before she walked down the aisle. Audrey is so stinking cute and really mothered the other flower girl and ring bearer. She made sure they stayed in line and knew exactly what to do. She's a pro!
Here's a quick shot of my mom, sister, and I. Even though this was completely informal, it's one of my favorite pictures of the day!
I wanted to get a picture of the charms I wore on my shoes. I posted about the importance of having my dad with me on my wedding day. I forgot them at the hotel, but one of my awesome bridesmaids ran back right before the ceremony to get them. They were also pretty tough to pin into my shoes, but another one of my bridesmaids saved the day and was able to pin them in for me. I really don't know if I could have walked down the aisle without them--that's how much they meant to me.
This picture absolutely cracks me up! I was trying to sneak a peak of my mom walking down the aisle with my cousin, James. I also wanted to catch a glimpse of my handsome groom when he walked in and as he waited for me to walk down the aisle! We did a first look, but that did not take away any of the emotions or excitement I felt when I did walk down the aisle to Rob. As you can see from this picture--I could not wait to be standing next to him!
Seriously--what would I do without my bridesmaids?! Because my gown had so many layers and such a long train, there would be times when I could feel something not quite right with my dress. Sometimes it was my slip or the dress itself. It was so uncomfortable unless everything was exactly in place. Right before I walked down the aisle I could tell that something was off--and my sweet bridesmaid Alicia came to the rescue and got everything into place. This picture just makes me laugh--what a champion!
Ok--I promise the next wedding blog post will be of the ceremony! No more waiting! :)
